Pete Anderson is the lead pastor of City on a Hill, a contemporary church in Edinburgh passionate about loving God and serving the city. He is married to Angie and dad to Becky and Michael.  Pete and Angie founded the church in 1998 in a small Haymarket flat and it now includes hundreds of people from many cultures, backgrounds, and age groups.

Pete is known for his clear, engaging Bible teaching and his heart to help people encounter Jesus in ways that transform everyday life. He shares his messages through the church’s podcast, making teaching accessible to those unable to attend in person.

City on a Hill is made up of seven communities, including an online congregation. Each quarter, all communities come together for The Gathering, a time to celebrate being “One Church in Many Communities” and to worship, connect, and 
grow as a unified body of Christ.
